Refined Bleached Deodorised Palm Stearin (RBD Palm Stearin)
RBD Palm stearin is the solid product obtained from the fractionation of palm oil. The other product is in liquid form called RBD olein. RBD Palm Stearin is solid at room temperature and white in colour. RBD Palm Stearin is used in the production of margarine and shortenings as well as to make soaps and candles. It is also used in the oleochemicals industry.
