Crude Coconut Oil or virgin coconut oil is made from fresh coconut meat. The processes are all carried out at relatively low temperatures. The coconut milk is squeezed into the pulp. This coconut milk is further processed by heating at a relatively low temperature, fermentation, cooling, addition of enzymes, mechanical stress or centrifugation.
Crude coconut oil is a product that is obtained by expression and / or solvent extraction from the dry core (copra) of coconut (Cocos nucifera L.), and is free from mixing with other oils and fats.
